Printable Travel Itinerary Template (PDF)

Paper does not run out of battery. A printed itinerary in the daypack — flight numbers, hotel address, the day’s plan — is the backup that works when your phone is dead, roaming fails, or you simply do not want to stare at a screen on holiday.

This PDF is designed for the printer: ruled fill-in lines, one page per day, a bookings section for confirmation numbers, and checklists with real checkboxes. Print the pages you need, skip the ones you do not.

What’s inside

  • Trip overview and bookings forms — flights with PNR and seat, hotels, car rental, emergency contacts
  • Seven ruled day pages — morning / afternoon / evening blocks plus notes
  • Budget page — planned amounts by category and a spending log
  • Two-column packing checklist, 33 items in six categories
  • Pre-trip checklist — the 12 things people forget, from passport validity to telling the bank

How to use it

  1. 1Download — it is a plain PDF, no forms software needed.
  2. 2Print the pages you want (each day is its own page, so print day pages per trip length).
  3. 3Fill it in by hand, or type into it with any PDF annotator before printing.
  4. 4Fold the day pages into your daypack; leave the bookings page with your travel documents.

Editing tips

Print only what the trip needs

Pages 3–9 are the seven day pages. A weekend trip needs two of them; select the page range in the print dialog rather than printing all twelve.

It photographs well

After filling it in by hand, photograph the bookings page — a picture of your confirmation numbers in your camera roll is a surprisingly robust backup.

A4 and US Letter both work

The margins are conservative enough that "Fit to page" produces clean output on either paper size without clipping.

Frequently asked questions

Can I type into the PDF instead of printing it?

Yes — any PDF annotator (Preview on Mac, Edge or Acrobat on Windows, most phone PDF apps) lets you type onto the ruled lines and tick the checkboxes.

Is this really free, no email required?

Yes. The download link is direct — no form, no newsletter, no watermarked "pro version" upsell.

Can I get a PDF with my actual itinerary in it?

Yes — monkeyeatingmango.com generates a complete day-by-day itinerary for your destination free, and its PDF export is print-disciplined the same way: each day on its own page.
