I'm Shobhit Shrivastava, the founder of MonkeyEatingMango. I got tired of losing hours to trip planning and still landing on a plan I wasn't sure about, so I built the tool I wanted to use. It began as a way to learn AI and turned into something I care about: itinerary planning is a hard, genuinely interesting problem, and I know what a good trip feels like. I test every release on my own travels and read the feedback that comes in. You can read more about why I'm building this.
What I work on here
I set the direction for the itinerary and destination-recommender systems, decide what ships, and write the comparison and how-to posts on the blog. When something reads wrong or a reader flags a mistake, it comes to me. Our country guides and destination content are edited by Namrata, who reviews every fact and photo before it publishes.
