What the generator adds for your trip
- Weather gear for the month you travel, from the city’s measured climate: a rain jacket, warm layers, sun protection, insect repellent
- For a trip abroad: passport and visa checks, the right plug adapter, local currency and an eSIM
- The local transit card and the apps people there use for rides, payments and tickets
- Rows for babies, kids or teens, and for a group of three or more
- Flight rows (a change of clothes in your carry-on, compression socks), and a laundry kit once the trip outlasts a week of clothes

Frequently Asked Questions
For 7 days the list counts 5 everyday outfits and 8 pairs each of underwear and socks. For a trip of 8 days or more the counts stop there and the list adds a wash each week and a laundry kit, so two weeks packs the same bag as one.
From the city's measured climate for the month you travel: rain gear when it rains on 8 or more days of the month, warm layers when nights fall to 8 °C (46 °F) or below, and sun protection when days reach 24 °C (75 °F). A beach, snow or high-altitude trip can get sun protection when it is cooler than that.
Rows by age: 7 for babies up to 2 (diapers, formula, a carrier), 6 for kids 3 to 12 (a car seat, a comfort toy, kids' medicine) and 2 for teens. Clothing counts are per person once more than one person is going.

This list is what every trip needs. A trip abroad also needs documents, money and phone to-dos (passport validity, travel insurance, an eSIM) plus plug adapters and visa rules for the country. The international checklist lists those, and the generator adds them whenever a city on your trip is in another country.
